Embers of Awakening: From Firestorms to Climate Healing, May 31 at 9:00 PM Channel 22 PBS

"The documentary film, “Embers of Awakening”, will be shown on KRCB (television Channel 22 PBS) on Wednesday, May 31 at 9 p.m. It will not be repeated, nor will it be available on U-Tube or Passport.

Synopsis: Stories from the 2017 Tubbs/Nuns firestorms. Featured survivors include Supervisor Susan Gorin and newly elected Judge, Oscar Pardo, who was burned out in Coffee Park. Sonoma County is presented as a microcosm of the global climate crisis. Asks how we can recover from trauma while providing insights to prevent the further demise of our planet.

Listening For a Change presents, Phyllis Rosenfield, former President of the League of Women Voters of Sonoma County, directs and produces, Peter Coyote narrates.
